Here at Howes, we specialise in the installation and maintenance of fire doors in Kent. We recently provided Golding Homes with a series of fire door installations for some of their properties in Wallis Avenue, Maidstone.
We were asked to install flat entrance fire door sets as a part of the Building Regulations and the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order, a health and safety requirement that every non-domestic building must comply with.
Whether a commercial unit or, a residential property owned by an individual landlord or organisation, there is a list of responsibilities to ensure all residents or visitors are protected, which is where we come in.
As always, we prioritise the needs, and health and safety of our clients or their residents whilst working on a project. Efficiency, expertise and knowledge are vital tools we bring to any job and we take great pride in our work. We are passionate about saving lives, and preventing danger and damage.
Our installation of 16 fire door sets for Golding Homes was completed by two of our accredited team members. The fire door sets that were currently in the building were outdated, damaged and had experienced significant wear since their original installation. It was essential that we replace these fire doors to ensure that the building adhere to current fire safety regulations and pass fire risk assessments, potentially saving lives.
For those who don’t work within the fire safety industry, it can be hard to identify an ill-fitting fire door, so it’s important that an expert team like Howes are called upon to take action. We pride ourselves on using only high-quality and fully tested door sets, and providing an expert fitting service to all of our projects. Whether you require a handful of fire doors for a small HMO or hundreds for residential flats like Golding Homes, you can trust our standards will always remain the same.
